Mr. Dale S. ter Haar
Dale became a Trustee in 2009 and, as the eldest grandson of Lady Khama, is passionate about the Trust’s work. He served as a tank officer in the British Army for 9 years, retired, and came home to head up the Botswana office of a coal fired power station development company. He currently works as a self-employed consultant advising the minerals and energy sectors. Dale serves on a number of boards including Stanbic Bank Botswana and Chobe Holdings Ltd.
Dale is married to Brianna and they have two children, Thomas Seretse and Ella Ruth. He’s crazy about outdoor pursuits and uses this as an excuse to focus the Trust’s fundraising activities on events he would want to participate in.
